Meeting with Ambassador Pardew

Representatives of the Macedonian American Community in the US attended a briefing with the Special Adviser for Balkans in the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs in the State Department, Ambassador James Pardew, to hear about Ambassador Pardew's mission to Macedonia and exchange views about the situation in Macedonia. The meeting was attended by Dr. Vasil Babamov, Mr. Goran Stojkoski, and Mr. Pero Trajkovski, from the Macedonian American Friendship Association Mrs. Violeta Dandusevska from the Board of the Macedonian Orthodox Church in New Jersey and Mr. Vasko Temelkovski, Editor of the Macedonian Monthly. The representatives of the Macedonian American Community in the US conveyed to Ambassador Pardew their concern with the raising anti-American sentiments among the Ethnic Macedonian population in the Republic of Macedonia and explored the ways in which the situation can be improved.
